I&#39;m definately going to improve upon this time but I&#39;m really happy about this race! In all honesty, I get real freaked out before racing (especially if I haven&#39;t done one in a while...) but after just going for it and having a great time I remembered how much I love it.&nbsp;I have a lot more confidence in my abilities now and I&#39;m flippin stoked for this year. I went solo this run and it was actually pretty dang neat. I missed Colton by just a few mins but honestly it felt great to be alone in nature (hippy sounding I know). I didn&#39;t even wear a watch I just checked what time it was before and after. Even when I reached the top of the motha I had to start again down the other side. I thot. It wasn&#39;t too bad tho at least I know what it will be like next time. I kind of regret not pushing as hard as I could... my feet were really slow in the sand. I think coach was right about it being a great workout for me because it will halp me have quicker feet (wooo sand hills are just for me).
