Train Seshes For Quickness Amaze Running Blog at FastRunningBlog.Com Thu, 15 Nov 2018 03:15:33 FeedCreator 1.7.2 Mon, Oct 02, 2017
AM-- This morning was pretty dang rough... tried to eat a snack before practice early in the morning but I ultimately got insane heartburn and had fiery burps the whole time. Oof. Fiery burps are THE WORST. But overall it was a good run to start with. Last night was tough sleeping as well so I didn't get the 8/9 I need... #rip. Nevertheless, gettin ready to toast some noobs at snow canyon tomorrow. My positivity today was off the charts.

60 mins

PM-- After our legendary speeches we headed out to destroy the softball fields with our feet. The grass felt amazing but my brain currently does not (and here's why). We eventually started to do this game on the field where one person would close their eyes while the runner next to them would tell them where to go. I had my eyes closed and after a while I could run pretty fast while just listening to Dylan (keeping my eyes shut the ENTIRE time). The problem was that Nathan was doing it too and JD (thx noob) didn't steer him right. Our pathes crossed and our heads whacked together with insane force so that I fell on my butt. Moral of the story is this: trust excersices are good; however, don't trust idiots. Second moral of the story: better yet don't be an idiot.

25 mins
Mon, 02 Oct 2017 06:00:00 Fri, Sep 15, 2017
AM-- 25 mins of amazin running like alwaes. My keester es soer. nom. Yoga es der baum. Stretching was nice and chill. Had an amazing effect on my muscles. Unlike Coache's str8 fire towards Miles and Jose. RIP Jose's crops. Too bad coach is right. 5th graders gonna be crying 2nite

PM--- Workout of 15 mins of tempo (6:15 progressing towards 5:30)

Coach literally blew my mind today. I had a little bit of a rough workout that mirrored my race on Wednesday. Like I fought hard and I'm proud of what I did do, but like coach was saying, I needed to embrace running and be more of a part of it (rather than fighting against the essence). This seriously changed my perspective of how I viewed running just in a short amount of time. Mostly because I focus on the pain and how to battle it instead of accepting pain and being part of the amazingness of the sport. I was surprised when the first thing he said was that I needed to relax my form because running is a form and it's beautiful. Grateful for a ultra wise ultra runner for un coache. #harmonious. Can't ever forget why I actually love running. #blest #Jose'sCrops2k17
Fri, 15 Sep 2017 06:00:00 Thu, Sep 14, 2017
AM-- Just weights because of legendary thunderstorms absolute

PM-- 50 mins total including strides. It went by quick. 25 mins

PM----- Warmed up for days checking out the course and to kill some time before our race. This course is overall very fast and pretty fun. This race was the first time I.......................wait for it.................epic drum roll..................DIDN'T PUKE. #blessed. Grateful to all those people that led me to this point and I won't dissappoint you guys. Although I was entirely winded at the end of the race I felt significant improvement. Now I just need to figure out what to do the times I usually barfed...

85 mins total
Wed, 13 Sep 2017 06:00:00 Tue, Sep 12, 2017
morning w/ at the weight room. It was cool just to go adventure mode and try somewhere new for once haha. The hill workout was solid and a lot of the crew was there. Getting out of this running funk I've been in by just doing my best and most importantly having a good time. It's been pretty easy for me to be hard on myself due to the fact that we get super intense and serious in some of our meetings. It's not a good place to be if you're stressed all the time so I'm just gonna have fun while I still give my all.

AM----80 mins w/ 100m uphills*8

PM----25 mins w/ some grass

13.5 mi. total
Mon, 11 Sep 2017 06:00:00
