Woke up to take off on my solo run! Man it always drives me nuts when I run by myself. Anyways this one was up in Provo Utah. I ran on some flat, humid, industrial road forever. No jams or anything. It was pretty boring not gonna lie. It's chill tho. Not gonna have time for too much running this whole next week though cause of EFY...

Back at it again! Running today was easier than I thought it was gonna be. I missed a few days last week because of EFY so I was kind of scared to hit this long run. Not too bad! I still felt pretty tired once I hit 80 mins ( I did barf once) but it was all good. Anyways just getting excited for our beast season!

Phew, running today was a challenge. Not an overly exhausting challenge but I could feel it. Today was up in the desert on the big fat gnarly sand hill. K, I was trolled so hard because I thought so many times that I was done. Even when I reached the top of the motha I had to start again down the other side. I thot. It wasn't too bad tho at least I know what it will be like next time. I kind of regret not pushing as hard as I could... my feet were really slow in the sand. I think coach was right about it being a great workout for me because it will halp me have quicker feet (wooo sand hills are just for me). Towards the end I was tired but it was gr8 overall.

75 mins total. About 20 mins was a meeean ol sand hill. Next time I will crush that mound like it's nothin

Whew. This hurt. I'm pretty happy about this workout because I kept pushin and stuff but it totally hurt. I kept trying to get into a fast pace and my stomach was all like "heck nah dude i'm going to go ahead and barf". I fought it well but I still wish I could run a normal workout. But some of our guys killed it! We're shapin up niiiiicely.

42 And it came to pass that in the third year of the reign of the Bear Dog, a small cluster of Holtites gathered together for the purpose of running.

43 They counseled one to another saying: let us run upon the beautiful trail, yea, even the one named Chuckwala. For it is a hearty trail, with hills and cliffs. And it doth please our spirits to endure pain.

44 And after this manner did they speak. Even until all of the party was convinced of the great worth that Chuckwala did hold. Therefore they did meet in the earlier hours, and did commence the journey.

45 And it came to pass that they did behold many gorgeous landscapes. And their eyes did feast upon lizards, and upon rocks, and upon many old hikers. Yea, they did witness many sand spots and cliffs; however, they did not withold their effort in running while doing so. They did press forward still.

46 It was in this way that they did run: hecka fast and righteous. And they did so for 80 minutes. Nothing waivering within the time that was given to them. Also included in their flight was pickups. Yea, even five pickups: each lasting a minute.

47 And thus it was, amen.

Aaaw yeaaah. I kicked ol Sand Hill's butt today. I need quicker feet though. Also, I made a noob mistake and just chilled a lot of the way down... but even after this huge long run I felt amazing. It was awesome. I went zen mode again and didn't feel much pain really. Today was gooood.

Yikes... today was a beast run until right before Hell Hole. Afterwards it was.... um, hell (lol). I puked my guts out and then tried to keep up to the hill and back to the school. I was just entirely out of energy at that point. I still kept pushing tho! I'm not too upset by it because everybody has crummy days sometimes. I'll bounce back easy!

80 mins with gnarly paces

Also, let this be a lesson unto all: never, NEVER eat 5 bowls of capt crunch and dino nuggets for dinner the day before.

Bam. I told you I'd bounce back. Today was a workout that made us practice our feels for different paces. It was pretty sick and it wasn't too difficult. I rocked it barefoot for most of the workout. So in total I probs ran 8.5 ish miles.

Today we met at Vernon Worthen and ran around St. Geezy (Marathon course backwards for some of it). This run I was kind of tired but it wasn't too bad. I've just been thinking a lot about being relaxed in our running. The whole,"Ride the Wave" idea helps me out a lot. In previous blogs I kind of had that same idea actually but I called it Zen Mode or something. #visualization #RobsInspires

Herricun Rim Trail this mornin. I went solo this run and it was actually pretty dang neat. I missed Colton by just a few mins but honestly it felt great to be alone in nature (hippy sounding I know). Like it was different to see how well you do by yourself. People do help a ton but today was just me and the run. I didn't even wear a watch I just checked what time it was before and after. The time ended up being just what I needed. *pauses to think about how cool that was* Mental strength leveled up by 420 points.

Daaaang! This was actually a really fun race. But I was WAY late to it and had to start after everyone... haha... not mentioning names or anything but Ellie totally told me the wrong time of the race. Lol. It was nice of the race peeps tho cause they timed me individually and still let me place. It was a good 1st timer for sure. During it I felt epic. I wasn't at all stressed about racing. It felt awesome to go fast and be comfortable with it. Still gonna get way quicker however. Cooled to about 50 mins total because my fam was doing stuff.

Today I slept in like a dweeb... good thing it was raining tho because I could still get in a run and not get roasted by the sun. But before my solo run we had the most LIT game of ultimate frisbee. It was so dope. It should rain every Tuesday (actually jk then Kid's Club wouldn't work but still)
