After my 15 min warmup I tackled the 3200m! I'm glad I could push hard like I did. (unfortunately no PR..) Just had a solid race all around and can't wait to see my times improve. Pretty grateful it wasn't insanely windy, but still chilly in the morning. Next time I'm gonna have to fight to hold my pace and hopefully not get feeling sick like I did today. Me Nathan and Evan all almost passed out it was great. After that we took off towards the lit canyon I did yesterday! Only me and Nathan climbed the hill to the rest of the canyon though. We had convos about running, training, and other stuffs. Towards the end we crawled through a little tunnel which was purty cool.

In total 75 mins today

AM-- Just working on our gorgeous muscles

15 mins

PM-- Aaaaaah yes. It's that wonderful time of the year again. A time where teams from across the world come to bond in the form of relays. Panther Relays is sure to include all types of batons and distance kids not knowing what to do. And no doubt feature all kinds of monkey business, tomfoolery, horse feathers, and shenanigans alike. Not to mention the world famous, all-american Panther Dogs. Next year, don't forget to take part in this memorable time that's tailored for the whole family

Also I took part of the 4*800 and 4*400. Whoever took last owes Julien, Tavin, Gabe, and I our deserved share of donuts.

Race: Dhills Invite (0.994 Miles) 00:05:00

AM-- Morning run! K my blogs have a total lack of info cause of watch issues. Our best people are working on it now.

25 mins

PM-- Typically I'd think,"Hey don't focus on the negative" but in reality you have to sometimes. And this race doesn't have much positive. That's the truth. I felt a bit sick before we started and had to use the bano a lot. In honesty I wasn't completely out of commision but the fight just wasn't there. My body was NOT up to it and neither was my mind. Just gonna regroup and try again since that's all I can do. Also see if I can improve on what I'm already doing and visualize how to deal with opposition in races. Shake it off, step up.

Had to run home early cause of fam stuff and only got in 45 mins this afternoon. Lame.

Also thanks to beast coaches Holt and Robs for a good pep talk after. Appreciate the time put in this team.

AM-- First off I completely forgot about blogging my runs until coach reminded me... Yikes. Will change with that );

Anyways, this run was pretty craaaazy. I held well with the main varsity pack during our tempo and only slipped off a little at the end. Finished not too far behind cause of some gnarly stomach issues. But this was one of my better long runs. I had quite a bit of tiredness and still held on. Probably 100% because I had the worst time falling asleep last night. I need to take some nyquil or something cause it took forever to pass out and even when I did I would wake back up. A real pain... Still stayed awake today and did well though.

75 mins w/ tempo of 15 mins (5 mins then 10 faster pace) 10.5 miles

PM-- Just A nice chill 25 after school. Great meeting today as well!

AM-- Woke up early and started this motha at 6:00. Did our 10 min warm up, 5 easy tempo, then proceeded with hammering our legs into shape. Man I was feeling really sick this workout but still did almost all of it (didn't do the 2nd 800 well huge bumma). I'm getting pretty annoyed cause I'm trying all this new diet stuff and I still struggled. Gonna start writing down what I eat. Ugh it's all good though. Despite the difficulty I felt pretty accomplished after this morning. Starting to learn how to handle pain better too! Doesn't mean that it didn't suck tho haha. But a good suck, ya know? Also I need to land on my toes (seriously the list goes on). It feels really wierd but I know I'll get it down. Form work erry day.

10 warm + 5 mins E tempo

200m: 800 pace

400m: 1600 pace

800m: 3200 pace

400m: 1600 pace

200m: 800 pace

Repeat one more time. Then cool 10 mins

Well I went and meditated on a cliff today. It was pretty great. Practiced visualizing and tried to study my mind. The blood results from the hospital came back and nothing appears to be wrong with me other than I'm a little sick from something (cold, infection, idk). But nothing to hold me back too far I don't think. Was bored today and a little upset about my race. So ultimately I went and ran a 3200m and a 1600m by myself at the track later in the night (since I didn't go to a meet today).

1600m--  5:03
