Did the 6-5-6 workout today on the track! Hit my paces/ distances good so I'm happy. This workout makes time fly though holy cow.

Weights and 15 today! couldn't do much lifting cause my knee was spazzing out ;( It'll be fine soon though

Had a hilly run through good ol' St. Geezy. Good push casue my legs were a bit worn out from yesterday. Finished it off with 6 striders. Love running with my homies :D

Man today was slightly more lame not gonna lie. Around 20 mins in our tempo I hit a WALL. idk waht it was but I'm just going to be more careful with my body. Most likely not enough water and/or sleep. Next goal to work on is definately gonna be establishing healthy habits. Ran a solid 60 mins tho. Also went to Mongolian BBQ same night. Their noodles are seriously the best. (Coach these ones are healthy with veggie and meat stuffs and actual dough. Not pop tart cancer ramen I promise)

I did not sleep good that was rough ;( But went and hit up prospector with Cooper! Man I love the desert it's so beautiful. Had to flip a little early cause of prom stuff. Solid run though! 50 mins total.

Speaking of Prom (and beautiful things) it was seriously suuuuuuper fun shout out to Ellie for being such an amazing date!

Weights and nice 15 this morniing!

Man the Root Beer Mile was off the wall. I did good with puking but as soon as I finished the last lap my stomach unleashed its awesome fury. No joke, a river of Barq's shot from my face. I don't really want to describe this race that much cause it's pretty nasty and I want to keep Fast Running Blog family-friendly.

Morning run!!! 15 and weights

Had an insane adventure run out in the middle of the desert. 70 ish minutes. Was pretty legit not gonna lie. Climbed a mountain and learned about Russian German Shepard Bear Dogs. Also didn't know what bouldering was exactly until this run. Man, learn something erry day.

Lost my watch so I can't keep accurate records );  But this tempo was great. Enjoyed the group I was in! I think we were a little over the place but overall pretty solid.

Today I took off to Mustang Pass just me myself and I. Was really enjoyable actually! I normally hate running by myself but this time was really fun. Still can't find my watch so that sucks. The cool rain made for FANTASTIC running weather.

Saw footprints on my run and later found out they were Juliens! Was pretty epic.

Morning Weights and 15 Minutes!!!!

Southern Utah trail runs are flipping fantastical and I love them. Speaking of love Happy Valentine's Day! Today's run was super quick and very enjoyable. (my legs actually felt pretty tired today too. Time to roll afth.)

Also, Hilarious Fun Fact That I Just Learned And Is Actually Fun:  Anitidaephobia is an actual word in the english dictionary that means the fear of always being watched by ducks. Yes. Watched by ducks. All the time.

Race: Dogtown Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) 01:19:05, Place overall: 9, Place in age division: 6

Couldn't sleep well the night before but man what a legendary race. For my first half marathon, Im pretty stoked. The clock was 15 off so I about flipped my lid when my mom told me that I ran a 01:04:05. Sigh thanks mom. But anyways arrived pretty early in what I think was the first bus w/ Carson. We did some mosh pit dancing stuff to stay warm and not freeze our butts off. Got some weird looks haha. Coach Holt showed up so that was pretty neat! Ugh but I wish so much I could've held the race with those guys! Just have to train harder. Anyways, the start was just some lady counting down... I guess in track season and such I'm expecting a gun but hey whatever. Took off down an industrial road somewhere in Hurricane. Ran around some neighborhoods and flew downhill in Coral Canyon. (TH was Evan doing?) It had warmed up to a gorgeous day by then and Logan caught up to me around the Landfill Rd. Me and him cruised down through hell hole and the whatchamacallit trail with some epic tag teaming. Logan was a big help for me pushing thx dude! The hardest part was the flat road after sullivan. Only thing i was dissatisfied with was this part. Was really tough having a good attitude/pace after logan started to pass me up and the hurt really kicked in. Not really used to holding tempo for such a long time but I think I managed myself well. Picked up aways before Staheli Farm and passed some other dude for a quicker finish. Good job PVXC we literally destroyed that race! Can't wait for next year!!
